Emmis Communications Corporation is a diversified media company, which focuses on radio broadcasting. The Company owns four frequency modulation (FM) and two amplitude modulation (AM) radio stations in New York and Indianapolis. The Company operates through two business segments: Radio and Publishing. The Radio segment owns stations in New York and Indianapolis. The Company’s Publishing segment includes Indianapolis Monthly. Its radio stations and Indianapolis Monthly participate in many community programs, fundraisers and activities that benefit a variety of causes. In addition to its other radio broadcasting operations, the Company also owns and operates Network Indiana, a radio network that provides news and other programming to approximately 70 affiliated radio stations in Indiana. It also operates a dynamic pricing business (Digonex).
