I had R20k in Nut. Is there a process where one can register to receive at least a pro-rata share or % after liquidation?

Hi Everyone.  As this is the first bad company I've ever invested in, I actually have no idea how this now works?  The company is delisted, so how does the communication forward going, going to reach us?

A few lessons I have learnt from this so-called company, I lost R50000,001. Do not invest in small caps, stick to the top 402. Check who is the CEO and on the board, if I don't like the names, don't invest. After following the above two rules I have excelled.

@Neil Van Der spuy this company was definitely a rug pull. I also feel the Jse should have shut them down long ago as i wouldn't even consider this a small market cap company. seems more like a ponzie scheme to lure investors and run

We all lose! Did those CBD contracts actually exist,or are we all being robbed blind?🤔

@rupert morrison it looks like it was all lies, from what i understand the execute team of this jse listed company was working out of the home of the CEO. we as shareholders need to form some sort of group and get something back, even if its just making sure these guys are charged with fraud

@rupert morrison i am sure they hope we just sit back and write it off. these thieves need to pay.

i managed to get in touch with the cfo and ceo, it seems like there might still be some hope. there should be an announcement soon.they seem very optimistic that we have not lost all. apparently this mess is a result of the old board

Thanks for the update. My question is that why after more than two years they cant get the financials done. It cant be that difficult but lets wait and see

@Kobus Sadie whatever the reason is, there is no excuse for such poor communication with shareholders. we have been short changed for 2 years but after the Jan and Feb court cases i think we will know for sure of it was a total loss. right now the current leadership are passing the buck

Well there you have it boys and girls, last nights SENS:  "If successful, no distribution would be expected to unsecured creditors or shareholders."  So if Liquidation goes through, you've lost all your money!

@John Wick and during all this time, no protection from the JSE or the FSCA and by the looks of it no accountability, accountability for the sole purse of the shareholder

hi I am a journalist at Business Day. Is there anyone here who invested in NUT and can chat to me. It can be anonymous. It seems company is now liquidated and while fighting that - have no cash flows or assets . My number is 083 56677223

@Katharine Child I put down R500 on the 'cannabis penny stock' thinking it was a legitimate business, with a turnaround strategy. Now it seems one of the directors is granting himself preferential treatment via a liquidation strategy which seriously jeopardises the rights of the shareholders.

@Katharine Child Hi Katharine.  I put down R100,000 - so I probably should just write if off or will shareholders be paid out in a liquidation process?  Where do we stand in the line?   Jeez, I feel so stupid for investing in this company

The soap opera at Nutritional Holdings continues, with a former shareholder and director having taken steps to liquidate the company. Here’s the shocker: the provisional liquidation has been granted! Certain shareholders are now lodging an intervening application. (from Ghost Bites)

I think this company has been taken over by a bunch of asset raiders or it is a fat money laundry.  I have not written to one of the newly appointed Directors as well as the Designated Advisor.  We shall see if anything comes of that.
