Jordan National Shipping Lines Company provides shipping services in Jordan. The company operates through Marine Services, Hotel Services, and Other segments. It owns dry and wet bulk carriers and container feeders, as well as RoRo Pax, multipurpose, and harbor towage tugs and support vessels. The company also operates various break bulk liner services in the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, and Indian Ocean to carry steel pipes, containers, RoRo, and heavy lift cargo; technical management services of vessels; and chartering services to exporters and importers of various bulk and bagged commodities. In addition, it acts as tramp and liner ship agent at the port of Aqaba offering port agency, brokerage, surveying, transshipments, husbandry, bunkering, and incomprehension’s marketing and sales services. Further, the company provides freight forwarding and specialized services to the oil and gas, renewable energy, pipeline, generator, offshore, and other projects; and marine services, such as harbour towage, pilotage, and related support services, as well as hospitality services. Additionally, it operates The Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies, which offer various programs in nautical studies and maritime engineering, as well as acts as a trusted consultant and advisor to public and private customers. Jordan National Shipping Lines Company was incorporated in 1976 and is based in Amman, Jordan.
