Rob Welman It’s even wiser for the creditors to take control of the company and keep it running while not only getting their money back but also earning the profits and owning the assett. I reckon this one is a dead duck.

The creditors fund are managers and pvt investors , they are not proficient in the fields that Snh trade in, Best to keep it  running as it is, but with crdtrs oversight. Take Joffe's approach , fire from the top give business unit managers more freedom to expand the business from the bottom,

help me out here pleas, so come day x the creditors get what, 80 percent of my share s, or 80 % of the share value....secondly liquidation, its better to keep steinhoff operational, as 80 percent of 1 south african cent, which I think the share will be at , if news does not important , is nothing, that's a big hit for the creditors, and the same goes if they take the company.....???...so if you ask my crystal Ball, I see a plan ....... thoughts?

unless they fixed a price, when the agreements were signed, as they sorely know that the sharp price would tank on such a send?

This new 'deal' will really dilute shareholders interest to only 20% of current values but it will also remove most of the company debt. If you vote against the deal you will be left with sweet blue all. What am I missing here?

Rekash Priaram I suppose in the end it will all depend on where the share price settle, when all is said and done I suppose. I don't have enough detail on the deal to really comment on it.

Rekash Priaram It appears that Steinhoff will cease to exist and the current shareholders will have a 20% share in a new, unlisted company. Which ever way you look at it, we're snookered.
