When it comes to living vicariously through others, there’s no greater activity than looking at stars and their cars. From Tesla to Ferrari, every millionaire on this list has their own unique auto tastes and varying levels of wealth that define their collections.

Take Jay Leno for example. The comedian and talk show host is worth $400 million, and he has used his wealth for a car collection worth $52 million. He has everything from Ferraris to Fords. While the celebrities on this list aren’t at Leno’s level, they do care about their cars—and they have the funds to do so.

Let’s have a fun look at some luxurious transportation machines and the many characteristics that define a car’s desirability, to those who can afford them at least. You may even stumble across a Kardashian or two. Vroom vroom, let’s go!

1. Anthony Hopkins – Porsche 911 Targa

Actor Anthony Hopkins has been terrifying us for years with his roles in movies like The Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, Hannibal, Fracture, and more. Hopkins won an Oscar for Best Actor for his role as serial killer Hannibal Lecter in 1991, while his co-star, Jodie Foster, took home an Oscar for Best Actress for the same movie.

Hopkins has had a long, successful career in Hollywood, and he shows no signs of slowing down. In the early 2000s, fans could catch him speeding around SoCal in a Porsche 911 Targa, painted a stylish cobalt blue.

2. Jay Leno – Mercedes 300SL Gullwing Coupe

The former comedian and talk show host Jay Leno is well known for his ridiculous car collection, and can often be seen joy-riding around his Toluca Lake neighborhood in Los Angeles. He owns an estimated 136 cars as well as 90 motorcycles and keeps them in a huge, high-security garage.

Seen here is his precious 1955 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing Coupe which is estimated to be worth 1.8 million dollars. This car is considered one of the most legendary Mercedes’ of all time. Leno is quite proud of his collection though and has even made a TV show in which he talks about his cars. The show is aptly titled Jay Leno’s Garage. How original Jay!

Despite the lack of original title, Jay Leno’s Garage is still quite popular, as people are fascinated by not only the new, flashy cars (like the 300SL), but also the ancient pieces of history that Leno owns. For example, he might cruise around in a Benz, but he also owns a 1927 Ford Model T.

3. Tom Cruise – Bugatti Veyron

How does Cruise cruise? Cruise cruises in a lot of cool cars, but at the 2006 premiere of Mission Impossible III, Tom Cruise rolled right up to the red carpet in a Bugatti Veyron worth roughly 1.3 million dollars.

The superstar can afford it no problem though as he not only starred in the Mission Impossible franchise but also many other films such as Top Gun, Jerry Maguire, and Eyes Wide Shut. A video of Tom exiting the Bugatti at the premiere went viral when he had a hard time opening the passenger door to let out his date.

Still, it’s nice that he opened the door for her (or tried to). In addition to the Veyron, Cruise also is a fan of cars himself, particularly ones from his movies, including the Porsche 911, the Chevy Chevelle SS from Jack Reacher, the Ford Mustang Saleen S281, which is from Mission Impossible, and a Buick Roadmaster (Rain Man).

4. Leonardo DiCaprio – Fisker Karma

Would you believe this car is actually a hybrid? It’s not your mother’s Prius though, it’s a very high-end Fisker Karma Hybrid was designed by Henrik Fisker who also was a lead designer for BMW working on such projects like the Z8 Roadster.

The Fisker is far different from other hybrid vehicles we’ve seen, even those from across the sea, such as the Toyota Prius. The Karma is luxury, dwarfing the Prius’ $20K selling point. Fisker was in plans to produce an all-new EMotion, which DiCaprio would have loved, no doubt, but those plans appear to be on hold as of 2020.

It’s not a surprise that the Oscar-winning actor would want a hybrid though. Leonardo DiCaprio is known for being quite the conservationist and advocate for protecting the planet from the repercussions of climate change. Unlike many of the “green” cars out there, this one is sleek, sexy and oh so fast. Better watch out for icebergs Leo!

5. Drake – Mercedes-Maybach G 650

Estimated Value: $500,000*

At the time this photo was taken, Canadian actor turned rapper Drake owned the only Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet in North America. This extravagant sport utility vehicle rocks 621-horsepower contains a folding roof for backseat passengers to star gaze, and even has both heated and cooling cup holders.

The vehicle also has a diver to separate the front passengers for the rear, in case you want to be driven around like Miss Daisy. The “Hotline Bling” performer is apparently one of only 99 owners in the world of this decadent Mercedes.

Another Maybach just popped up for sale, though it’s doubtful that the Apple Music rapper will want to spend $1.8 million on a copy of his current car. It is “lightly used,” too. The Mercedes Maybach G650 Landaulet popped up for sale in late January of 2020. There’s no word on if it has any rich takers yet.

6. Kate Upton – Mercedes-Benz SLS 6.3 AMG

Supermodel Kate Upton loves to show off her prized vehicle, the Mercedes-Benz SLS 6.3 AMG. This $248,000 car is extremely fast. The Sports Illustrated cover girl probably doesn’t max out the cars potential very often since it goes from zero to sixty in 3.8 seconds and tops out at almost 200 miles per hour.

Since this speed demon isn’t so great on gas, Kate also owns a Tesla Model S worth around $110,000. Tesla has gained quite a celebrity following, as stars tend to be eager environmentalists. Kate Upton is joined by fellow Hollywood mainstays like Ben Affleck, Cameron Diaz, Will Smith, Demi Moore, Eva Longoria, Morgan Freeman, Katy Perry, and Steven Spielberg, among many others. Even shock jock Joe Rogan owns one.

In addition to being a supermodel, Upton also was quite the athlete in her youth. She was an accomplished young equestrian and competed on a national level. You might say she went from one horsepower to six hundred and thirty-one!

7. Jennifer Lopez – 911 Carrera GTS Porsche

J-Lo hadn’t driven a car for over twenty-five years when her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez bought her this beautiful 911 Carrera GTS Porsche for her 50th birthday. In a social media video posted by Rodriguez, you can hear Jennifer Lopez shouting with joy that she has never driven such a vehicle in her life.

Once Lopez got behind the seat however, A-Rod got a little shaken up and you can hear him say, “Can I get a double seatbelt?” Jennifer Lopez has been making quite the comeback lately and she even appeared on the red carpet recently wearing her famous green Versace dress she wore 20 years ago.

The 911 Carrera is another celebrity favorite, with stars like Miley Cyrus, Tom Cruise, Ellen DeGeneres, and Gwen Stefani favoring the luxury brand. The 911 definitely wasn’t a cheap gift. Alex Rodriguez paid at least $94,000 for the Carrera. The baseball superstar and ESPN endorser has a $350 million net worth, though, so the Carrera is easy to afford.

8. Odell Beckham Jr – Rolls Royce Cullinan

American football star, Odell Beckham Jr, recently customized a Rolls Royce Cullinan with twenty-six-inch wheels with floating Rolls Royce caps and an original Orange wrap made by Dawg Pound. The wide-receiver decked out the vehicle and worked with DreamWorks Motorsports in North Carolina to bring Odell’s Rolls Royce dreams to life.

The Cleveland Browns superstar even had a custom hood ornament made with a figurine of himself catching a football with one hand as he did in an infamous game against the Dallas Cowboys. The car is supposedly worth an estimated half a million dollars.

Odell Beckham, like A. Rod, is another athlete that can definitely afford to spend money, as he has a skyrocketing net worth. ODB has managed to make the majority of his money from lucrative deals with companies like Nike. His Nike deal is worth $48 million over five years—one of the biggest shoe deals ever in the NFL.

9. Jay Z – Maybach Exelero

It’s not surprising that the world’s biggest hip-hop mogul, Jay-Z, owns one of the rarest luxury vehicles on the planet. This “car” is worth a whopping 8 million dollars and is powered by a twin-turbo engine that cranks out almost 700 horsepower with a top speed of 218 miles per hour.

Supposedly the car was previously owned by the rapper known as “Birdman,” who had fallen behind on payments and sold the vehicle to Jay-Z. Birdman, the CEO of Cash Money, is going through the ringer when it comes to debt. VS reported that the rapper-turned-businessman rushed into court in October of 2019 to prevent his bank accounts from being frozen and seized, as he owes over $1 million in debt to former employees and creditors.

Although Jay Z seems to be a big fan of the Maybach, in 2012 he destroyed another Maybach in 2011 when he and Kanye West cut it up in their music video for the song, “Otis.”

10. John Cena – Ford GT

Professional wrestler turned actor John Cena once owned this unbelievably sleek, liquid-blue Ford GT which was one of only 500 limited editions. This stunning automobile can travel upwards of 216 miles per hour and is rated at 647 horsepower. The car also is equipped with a twin-clutch 7-speed automatic gearbox and an active-multimode suspension.

The Ford GT has a track-ready sibling car that you won’t see John Cena driving around in, not just because you can’t see him, but because the GT Mk II isn’t road legal. The Mk II will be one of just 45 built, each of which will cost $1.2 million. The Mk II gets 700HP and has a top speed of 216MPH.

Although Cena rose to fame as a wrestler, he proved to be quite the funny man when taking on roles in movies such as Trainwreck and Daddy’s Home. Cena has accumulated enough wealth to collect many automobiles.

11. Miley Cyrus – Maserati Quattroporte

“We Can’t Stop,” admiring pop singer Miley Cyrus’s luxury vehicle, the Maserati Quattroporte. This adorable four-door sedan costs around 100,000 dollars and boasts the power of about 500 horses. Miley needs that power when speeding away from persistent TMZ photographers in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, a young couple stole this vehicle from Miley’s home in 2014 along with a bunch of jewelry. Apparently they were inspired by the infamous teen gang known as, “The Bling Ring.” Luckily the car was eventually recovered and the couple was arrested.

The stories of the couple arrested are wild. The two wannabe thieves, Naomi Charles and Tyler Scott, didn’t exactly pull off the heist of the century. They faced a slew of charges for their theft, and bail was set at $150,000 for Scott. Charles’ bail was set at $100,000. If convicted they face seven to nine years. No big deal for the former Disney star though, as Cyrus owns several other luxury vehicles including a McLaren MP4 12C.

12. Kanye West – Mercedes SLR

It’s not every day that you’re hanging out in the south of France at the Cannes Film Festival when American rapper Kanye West rolls up in his Mercedes SLR. Only 75 of these vehicles exist in the world so to see one out in the open air was quite the treat to auto enthusiasts who knew about the famed vehicle.

The car hits 0-60 in less than 3.5 seconds and has no windshield. So, when you’re blasting down the Autobahn at 200 miles an hour, you better have some serious face protection on. Little information is known on whether or not Kanye actually owned the vehicle but he sure did act like it that day.

Though rare, the Mercedes-Benz SLR is likely to become quite a classic, though one that is limited in production. The high performance and limited production mean that the price is just going to keep going up. The rapper and Twitterer, who is reportedly worth $1 billion, can definitely afford it.

13. Ralph Lauren – Mercedes-Benz SSK “Count Trossi”

Nope, it’s not the Batmobile. This is a 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK “Count Trossi” edition owned by fashion mogul Ralph Lauren. This two-seater was commissioned by the Italian Count Carlo Felice Trossi who was a serious racing enthusiast.

Trossi was also a visionary. He backed the Trossi-Monaco of 1935, which was one of the most unusual racing cars of its Grand Prix age. It had a sixteen-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a body not unlike a Boeing aircraft. It was a failure, but it showed that Trossi wasn’t afraid to take risks. The SSK was designed by then Mercedes employee, Dr. Ferninand Porsche. This incredible piece of machinery was Porsche’s last project before starting his own auto company.

Ralph Lauren brings his exquisite taste not just to garments but to high-end cars and has an extensive collection, which is reported to be worth around 300 million dollars. This one and a selection of others were on display in 2011 at a Paris museum.

14. Khloe Kardashian – Rolls Royce Wraith
