Carel is a CFA charter holder with eight years financial services experience at the Barclays’ head office group finance department. After completing his B Comm (Institutional Investments) at Stellenbosch University and B Comm Hons (Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management) at Cape Town University Carel successfully passed his CFA exams with first-time passes to become a CFA charter holder in 2010.
He applies his analytical skills to asset management, data base management and client reporting. In addition, he heads-up the Overberg Asset Management Hermanus branch and provides client relationship management services in the Hermanus region.
