BASF Earnings, Revenue beat In Q3

Investing.com - BASF reported on Wednesday third quarter earnings that beat analysts' forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.

BASF announced earnings per share of €1.770 on revenue of €21.900. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of €1.470 on revenue of €21.6B.

BASF shares are down 24% from the beginning of the year and are trading at €46.850 , down-from-52-week-high.

BASF shares gained 1.97% in intra-day trade the report.

BASF's report follows an earnings missed by Covestro on Tuesday, who reported EPS of €0.06 on revenue of €4.62B, compared to forecasts EPS of €0.4144 on revenue of €4.34B.
