BNP Paribas Earnings, Revenue beat In Q1
Investing.com - BNP Paribas (EPA: BNPP ) reported on Tuesday first quarter earnings that beat analysts' forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.
BNP Paribas announced earnings per share of €1.65 on revenue of €12.58B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of €1.12 on revenue of €11.61B.
BNP Paribas shares are down 16% from the beginning of the year and are trading at €50.54 , down-from-52-week-high.They are under-performing the STOXX 600 which is down 8.53% from the start of the year.
BNP Paribas shares gained 3.56% in intra-day trade the report.

BNP Paribas's report follows an earnings missed by Amundi on Friday, who reported EPS of €1.34 on revenue of €835M, compared to forecasts EPS of €1.47 on revenue of €813.25M.
