Brazil shares higher at close of trade; Bovespa up 2.04%

Investing.com – Brazil equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate , Financials and Public Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa added 2.04% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Bovespa were Banco do Brasil SA (SA: BBAS3 ), which rose 9.07% or 2.85 points to trade at 34.28 at the close. Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA (SA: ELET6 ) added 8.64% or 1.69 points to end at 21.24 and Cyrela Brazil Realty SA (SA: CYRE3 ) was up 8.08% or 0.89 points to 11.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Suzano Papel e Celulose SA (SA: SUZB3 ), which lost 4.46% or 2.06 points to trade at 44.14 in late trade. Cielo SA (SA: CIEL3 ) declined 4.06% or 0.52 points to end at 12.28 and Klabin Unt (SA: KLBN11 ) shed 3.07% or 0.61 points to 19.29.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 278 to 194 and 33 ended unchanged on the BM&FBovespa Stock Exchange.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 1.19% to 50.08.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.39% or 4.70 to $1202.30 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.32% or 0.99 to hit $76.22 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract fell 1.30% or 1.40 to trade at $106.50 .
USD/BRL was down 1.31% to 3.8885, while EUR/BRL fell 1.69% to 4.4734.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 95.49.
