Brazil shares lower at close of trade; Bovespa down 0.82%

Investing.com – Brazil equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials , Real Estate and Consumption sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa fell 0.82%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Bovespa were CCR SA (SA: CCRO3 ), which rose 3.30% or 0.41 points to trade at 12.82 at the close. Companhia Brasileira deDistribuicao (SA: PCAR4 ) added 3.03% or 2.01 points to end at 68.30 and EcoRodovias SA (SA: ECOR3 ) was up 2.76% or 0.27 points to 10.06 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Estacio Participacoes SA (SA: ESTC3 ), which lost 3.96% or 1.38 points to trade at 33.50 in late trade. Cosan SA Industria e Comercio (SA: CSAN3 ) declined 3.43% or 1.58 points to end at 44.52 and Lojas Renner SA (SA: LREN3 ) shed 3.37% or 1.21 points to 34.66.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 242 to 188 and 43 ended unchanged on the BM&FBovespa Stock Exchange.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 4.07% to 28.35.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for April delivery was down 1.02% or 13.60 to $1319.20 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.49% or 0.95 to hit $62.96 a barrel, while the May US coffee C contract fell 0.48% or 0.59 to trade at $121.08 .
USD/BRL was up 0.80% to 3.2515, while EUR/BRL rose 0.06% to 3.9756.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 90.35.
