Colombia shares higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.19%

Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.19%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN: CLH ), which rose 1.45% or 80.0 points to trade at 5580.0 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN: ISA ) added 3.77% or 480.0 points to end at 13200.0 and Grupoaval (CN: GAA ) was up 0.45% or 5.0 points to 1110.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Pfgrupoarg (CN: ARG_p ), which lost 2.79% or 380.0 points to trade at 13220.0 in late trade. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN: DVI_p ) declined 1.77% or 600.0 points to end at 33320.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN: IMI ) shed 0.84% or 120.0 points to 14160.0.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 11 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.76% or 3.12 to $116.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.45% or 51.50 to hit $2155.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 6.40 to trade at $1221.20 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.44% to 3102.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.31% to 820.09.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 94.96.
