Colombia shares higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.28%

Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials , Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.28% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN: ETB ), which rose 1.98% or 5.0 points to trade at 257.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN: IMI ) added 1.44% or 200.0 points to end at 14100.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN: SIS ) was up 1.06% or 360.0 points to 34480.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN: CIC ), which lost 6.54% or 25.0 points to trade at 357.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN: CNE ) declined 2.09% or 220.0 points to end at 10300.0 and Grupoaval (CN: GAA ) shed 1.81% or 20.0 points to 1085.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 14 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 3.92% or 4.00 to $106.10 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.05% or 1.00 to hit $2175.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 10.55 to trade at $1326.05 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.79% to 3105.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.93% to 851.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 95.297.
