Colombia shares higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.46%

Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials , Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.46%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN: ECO ), which rose 3.10% or 125.0 points to trade at 4155.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN: CNE ) added 3.05% or 280.0 points to end at 9450.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN: BIC_p1 ) was up 1.92% or 600.0 points to 31900.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN: CIC ), which lost 5.19% or 20.0 points to trade at 365.0 in late trade. Pfgrupoarg (CN: ARG_p ) declined 3.31% or 480.0 points to end at 14000.0 and Etb (CN: ETB ) shed 3.29% or 11.0 points to 323.0.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 12 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.24% or 0.25 to $102.15 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.00% or 62.00 to hit $2003.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.00 to trade at $1193.20 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 1.28% to 3000.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.91% to 745.21.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 94.92.
