Colombia shares lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.20%

Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Public Services , Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.20%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN: ETB ), which rose 5.62% or 19.0 points to trade at 357.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN: CNE ) added 2.44% or 230.0 points to end at 9670.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN: AVT_p ) was up 1.98% or 40.0 points to 2060.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN: CIC ), which lost 2.47% or 11.0 points to trade at 435.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN: CCB ) declined 2.22% or 200.0 points to end at 8800.0 and Grupoaval (CN: GAA ) shed 1.26% or 15.0 points to 1180.0.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $102.78 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.20% or 75.50 to hit $2282.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.10 to trade at $1206.40 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.92% to 3028.85, while BRL/COP rose 0.11% to 729.65.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 94.62.
