Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.14% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 3.45% or 11.0 points to trade at 330.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.91% or 90.0 points to end at 10000.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.72% or 50.0 points to 7030.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 5.47% or 15.0 points to trade at 259.0 in late trade. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) declined 4.85% or 50.0 points to end at 980.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) shed 3.57% or 2100.0 points to 56800.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 4 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.91% or 1.95 to $100.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.38% or 8.50 to hit $2228.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 8.50 to trade at $1249.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.26% to 3189.55, while BRL/COP rose 0.17% to 817.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 96.583.
