Colombia shares lower at close of trade; COLCAP unchanged

Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as in the sectors propelled shares .

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP unchanged 0.00%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN: BIC ), which rose 1.93% or 600.0 points to trade at 31700.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN: DVI_p ) added 1.40% or 440.0 points to end at 31840.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN: SIS ) was up 1.01% or 400.0 points to 40000.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN: ECO ), which lost 2.80% or 70.0 points to trade at 2430.0 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (CN: BBO ) declined 1.75% or 1180.0 points to end at 66200.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN: CFV ) shed 1.57% or 420.0 points to 26300.0.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.28% or 0.34 to $122.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.81% or 36.00 to hit $2028.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 4.80 to trade at $1319.40 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.64% to 2866.18, while BRL/COP rose 0.18% to 872.13.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 90.17.
