Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.02%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate , Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.02%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO: COLOb ), which rose 4.48% or 27.6 points to trade at 643.6 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO: GN ) added 4.05% or 9.2 points to end at 236.2 and Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ) was up 2.94% or 3.9 points to 136.7 in late trade.

Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO: ISS ), which lost 3.95% or 8.90 points to trade at 216.70 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ) declined 3.16% or 4.3 points to end at 131.7 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO: VWS ) shed 1.44% or 7.1 points to 485.3.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 60 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.08% or 1.55 to $51.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.20% or 1.30 to hit $60.39 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1230.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.5623, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4624.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 96.812.
