Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.26% – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services , Technology and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.26%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO: NOVOb ), which rose 2.31% or 6.9 points to trade at 306.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO: LUN ) added 1.96% or 5.2 points to end at 270.7 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO: CARLb ) was up 1.76% or 12.6 points to 730.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ), which lost 3.66% or 5.0 points to trade at 131.7 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) declined 3.30% or 320 points to end at 9380 and William Demant Holding AS (CO: WDH ) shed 2.63% or 5.2 points to 192.5.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 73 to 44 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.29% or 0.15 to $51.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.38% or 0.23 to hit $59.68 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.10 to trade at $1227.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.65% to 6.5920, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4628.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 97.110.
