Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.40%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials , Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.40%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ), which rose 2.29% or 4.1 points to trade at 183.1 at the close. DSV (CO: DSV ) added 1.58% or 9.0 points to end at 578.2 and GN Store Nord (CO: GN ) was up 0.93% or 2.9 points to 314.4 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ), which lost 3.74% or 16.5 points to trade at 424.5 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO: FLS ) declined 1.89% or 7.7 points to end at 399.3 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) shed 1.60% or 140 points to 8620.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 61 to 58 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.07% or 0.74 to $68.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.59% or 0.43 to hit $73.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.10 to trade at $1226.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.4286, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4533.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 94.84.
