Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.47%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods , Industrials and Chemicals sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.47%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO: DSV ), which rose 5.78% or 27.3 points to trade at 500.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ) added 3.57% or 9.2 points to end at 266.6 and GN Store Nord (CO: GN ) was up 2.74% or 7.5 points to 281.4 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ), which lost 1.66% or 2.4 points to trade at 142.1 in late trade. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO: CHRH ) declined 1.03% or 6.4 points to end at 615.8 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO: NOVOb ) shed 0.47% or 1.4 points to 307.5.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 76 to 44 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.59% or 0.31 to $51.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $60.66 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 5.85 to trade at $1294.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.5467, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4645.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 95.670.
