Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.69%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.69%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding AS (CO: WDH ), which rose 3.38% or 6.8 points to trade at 207.8 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO: NOVOb ) added 1.86% or 5.7 points to end at 308.9 and Oersted A/S (CO: ORSTED ) was up 1.81% or 7.90 points to 443.30 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ), which lost 6.17% or 9.5 points to trade at 144.5 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ) declined 2.90% or 7.7 points to end at 257.4 and Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ) shed 1.54% or 2.0 points to 128.0.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 68 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.63% or 1.33 to $51.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.05% or 1.21 to hit $60.20 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.35 to trade at $1287.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.69% to 6.5526, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4641.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.64% at 95.812.
