Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.87%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods , Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.87%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO: LUN ), which rose 4.39% or 12.6 points to trade at 299.9 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO: GN ) added 4.07% or 10.8 points to end at 276.1 and Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ) was up 3.82% or 10.5 points to 285.5 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ), which lost 6.53% or 10.8 points to trade at 154.7 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ) declined 0.49% or 0.7 points to end at 132.8 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO: JYSK ) shed 0.49% or 1.2 points to 243.5.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 85 to 44 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.56% or 1.24 to $49.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.32% or 1.33 to hit $58.66 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.30 to trade at $1286.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.5229, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4678.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 95.458.
