Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.51%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods , Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.51%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ), which rose 8.90% or 34.7 points to trade at 424.7 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO: WDH ) added 5.08% or 10.2 points to end at 210.8 and GN Store Nord (CO: GN ) was up 3.92% or 10.4 points to 275.4 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Tryg A/S (CO: TRYG ), which lost 1.94% or 3.0 points to trade at 151.7 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO: NZYMb ) declined 1.90% or 6.2 points to end at 319.5 and Oersted A/S (CO: ORSTED ) shed 0.83% or 3.40 points to 406.10.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 33 and 10 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.11% or 0.08 to $71.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.56% or 0.45 to hit $79.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.20 to trade at $1223.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.4544, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4604.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 94.93.
