Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.23%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services , Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.23%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO: CHRH ), which rose 2.78% or 16.2 points to trade at 598.4 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ) added 1.51% or 5.4 points to end at 362.3 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO: VWS ) was up 1.32% or 6.4 points to 492.4 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO: ORSTED ), which lost 4.09% or 18.70 points to trade at 438.80 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO: GN ) declined 2.66% or 6.2 points to end at 227.0 and ISS A/S (CO: ISS ) shed 1.83% or 4.20 points to 225.60.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 64 to 59 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.41% or 0.21 to $51.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.26% or 0.16 to hit $60.56 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.30 to trade at $1226.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.41% to 6.5833, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4625.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 96.965.
