Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.45%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods , Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.45%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CO: CARLb ), which rose 3.70% or 27.8 points to trade at 778.6 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO: JYSK ) added 0.76% or 1.9 points to end at 252.9 and DSV (CO: DSV ) was up 0.68% or 3.6 points to 531.2 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO: LUN ), which lost 3.05% or 8.9 points to trade at 282.5 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO: COLOb ) declined 2.62% or 16.8 points to end at 623.4 and ISS A/S (CO: ISS ) shed 2.09% or 4.05 points to 189.55.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.69% or 0.37 to $54.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.10% or 0.68 to hit $62.66 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.85 to trade at $1316.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.5612, while EUR/DKK fell 0.06% to 7.4643.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 96.018.
