Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.73%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods , Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.73%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO: LUN ), which rose 1.62% or 4.7 points to trade at 294.1 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ) added 1.59% or 2.1 points to end at 137.6 and Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ) was up 0.68% or 1.1 points to 162.5 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Genmab (CO: GEN ), which lost 2.67% or 28.5 points to trade at 1038.5 in late trade. Tryg A/S (CO: TRYG ) declined 1.94% or 3.2 points to end at 162.1 and Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ) shed 1.88% or 5.4 points to 281.1.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 38 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 4.84% or 2.43 to $47.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.64% or 2.17 to hit $57.44 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1253.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.5710, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4677.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 96.518.
