Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.92%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals , Real Estate and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.92% to hit a new 52-week low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ), which rose 6.67% or 24.4 points to trade at 390.0 at the close. Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ) added 2.80% or 3.6 points to end at 132.4 and Tryg A/S (CO: TRYG ) was up 2.65% or 4.0 points to 154.7 in late trade.

Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO: FLS ), which lost 3.22% or 11.5 points to trade at 345.5 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO: NOVOb ) declined 2.55% or 7.0 points to end at 267.3 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO: JYSK ) shed 2.46% or 7.3 points to 289.5.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 34 and 8 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.09% or 1.53 to $71.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.25% or 1.87 to hit $81.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.42% or 28.90 to trade at $1222.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.48% to 6.4442, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4609.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 94.86.
