Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.97%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare , Chemicals and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.97%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO: FLS ), which rose 2.66% or 8.6 points to trade at 331.7 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ) added 2.16% or 2.6 points to end at 125.2 and Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ) was up 2.16% or 3.4 points to 161.1 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO: NZYMb ), which lost 2.15% or 5.9 points to trade at 268.2 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO: LUN ) declined 2.06% or 5.9 points to end at 281.2 and Coloplast A/S (CO: COLOb ) shed 1.90% or 11.6 points to 598.2.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 69 to 54 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.00% or 0.53 to $53.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.70% or 0.43 to hit $61.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.32% or 16.95 to trade at $1296.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.83% to 6.5483, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4660.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 95.607.
