Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.13%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods , Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.13%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO: ORSTED ), which rose 1.28% or 5.40 points to trade at 428.10 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO: LUN ) added 0.66% or 2.0 points to end at 305.5 and GN Store Nord (CO: GN ) was up 0.39% or 1.1 points to 282.6 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ), which lost 7.73% or 32.6 points to trade at 389.2 in late trade. DSV (CO: DSV ) declined 2.51% or 13.6 points to end at 527.6 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) shed 2.13% or 188 points to 8634.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 33 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.40% or 0.25 to $63.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.58% or 0.42 to hit $73.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1231.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.5452, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4594.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 96.22.
