Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.19%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods , Chemicals and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.19%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO: NOVOb ), which rose 0.78% or 2.3 points to trade at 299.1 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO: NZYMb ) added 0.44% or 1.3 points to end at 298.6 and Genmab (CO: GEN ) was up 0.38% or 4.0 points to 1064.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CO: GN ), which lost 7.17% or 18.5 points to trade at 239.6 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ) declined 5.27% or 14.7 points to end at 264.1 and Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ) shed 4.67% or 7.6 points to 155.2.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 25 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 3.76% or 1.81 to $46.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.62% or 2.07 to hit $55.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 9.20 to trade at $1265.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.75% to 6.5148, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4674.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 95.822.
