Finland shares higher at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 up 0.22%
Credit: © Reuters. – Finland equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials , Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.22%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ), which rose 2.99% or 0.89 points to trade at 30.63 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE: OTE1V ) added 2.02% or 0.068 points to end at 3.440 and YIT Oyj (HE: YIT ) was up 1.97% or 0.10 points to 5.43 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Amer Sports Corporation (HE: AMEAS ), which lost 2.97% or 1.01 points to trade at 33.00 in late trade. Cargotec Oyj (HE: CGCBV ) declined 1.90% or 0.68 points to end at 35.10 and Kesko Oyj (HE: KESKOB ) shed 1.03% or 0.54 points to 51.72.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 79 to 70 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Brent oil for February delivery was up 1.88% or 1.11 to $60.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 2.74% or 1.38 to hit $51.67 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1231.40 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was up 0.10% to 1.1377, while EUR/GBP rose 0.44% to 0.8902.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 96.770.
