Finland shares higher at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 up 0.96%

Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials , Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ), which rose 12.81% or 3.21 points to trade at 28.26 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE: WRT1V ) added 7.32% or 0.99 points to end at 14.60 and Outotec Oyj (HE: OTE1V ) was up 5.01% or 0.231 points to 4.843 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Orion Oyj B (HE: ORNBV ), which lost 10.22% or 3.32 points to trade at 29.18 in late trade. YIT Oyj (HE: YIT ) declined 3.00% or 0.15 points to end at 5.01 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE: NDAFI ) shed 2.18% or 0.171 points to 7.679.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 64 and 8 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.50% or 0.38 to $76.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.69% or 0.46 to hit $67.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 4.70 to trade at $1232.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.20% to 1.1369, while EUR/GBP rose 0.32% to 0.8871.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 96.43.
