Finland shares lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 0.13%
Credit: © Reuters. – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities , Industrials and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.13%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kesko Oyj (HE: KESKOB ), which rose 2.84% or 1.29 points to trade at 46.69 at the close. DNA Oyj (HE: DNAO ) added 2.02% or 0.3800 points to end at 19.2000 and Telia Company AB (HE: TELIA1 ) was up 1.98% or 0.077 points to 3.972 in late trade.

Biggest losers included KONE Oyj (HE: KNEBV ), which lost 2.00% or 0.83 points to trade at 40.73 in late trade. Cargotec Oyj (HE: CGCBV ) declined 1.92% or 0.68 points to end at 34.72 and Fortum Oyj (HE: FORTUM ) shed 1.80% or 0.35 points to 19.39.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 64 and 21 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.01% or 0.01 to $80.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.15% or 0.11 to hit $71.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 8.70 to trade at $1230.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was up 0.26% to 1.1589, while EUR/GBP rose 0.15% to 0.8805.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 94.69.
