Finland shares lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 0.29%
Credit: © Reuters. – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Basic Materials , Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.29%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were YIT Oyj (HE: YIT ), which rose 2.66% or 0.14 points to trade at 5.39 at the close. DNA Oyj (HE: DNAO ) added 2.35% or 0.4200 points to end at 18.3000 and Fortum Oyj (HE: FORTUM ) was up 1.45% or 0.28 points to 19.60 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Metsa Board Oyj B (HE: METSB ), which lost 7.76% or 0.615 points to trade at 7.310 in late trade. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE: STERV ) declined 3.03% or 0.390 points to end at 12.490 and Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ) shed 2.01% or 0.62 points to 30.28.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 93 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was up 1.35% or 0.95 to $71.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.25% or 0.75 to hit $60.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 2.90 to trade at $1203.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was down 0.76% to 1.1250, while EUR/GBP rose 0.17% to 0.8750.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 97.30.
