Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.99%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 2.10% or 0.1200 points to trade at 5.8450 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 1.61% or 0.11 points to end at 6.95 and Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) was up 0.26% or 0.08 points to 30.67 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 3.55% or 0.156 points to trade at 4.242 in late trade. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) declined 2.40% or 0.195 points to end at 7.930 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) shed 2.23% or 0.120 points to 5.260.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 121 to 46 and 25 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 3.08% or 1.43 to $47.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 3.39% or 1.51 to hit $45.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.15% or 2.05 to trade at $1343.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.26% to 1.1256, while EUR/GBP rose 0.16% to 0.8681.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.24% at 95.18.
