Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.01%
Credit: © Reuters. – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication , Real Estate and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.01% to hit a new 52-week high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA: OPK ), which rose 9.95% or 181 points to trade at 2001 at the close. Paz Oil (TA: PZOL ) added 2.30% or 1180 points to end at 52390 and Ormat Technologies (TA: ORA ) was up 1.95% or 380 points to 19860 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Nice Ltd (TA: NICE ), which lost 2.44% or 1000 points to trade at 40030 in late trade. Sodastream International Ltd (TA: SODA ) declined 2.23% or 720.0 points to end at 31580.0 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA: AZRG ) shed 2.17% or 390 points to 17570.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 191 to 185 and 25 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.00% or 1.40 to $68.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.03% or 0.78 to hit $74.77 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1220.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.22% to 3.6726, while EUR/ILS rose 0.19% to 4.2969.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.29.
