Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.08% – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking , Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.08%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TA: LUMI ), which rose 1.69% or 39 points to trade at 2340 at the close. Poalim (TA: POLI ) added 1.55% or 38 points to end at 2485 and Ormat Technologies (TA: ORA ) was up 1.49% or 300 points to 20400 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Melisron (TA: MLSR ), which lost 1.53% or 250 points to trade at 16080 in late trade. Strauss Group (TA: STRS ) declined 1.41% or 120 points to end at 8410 and Delek Group (TA: DLEKG ) shed 1.23% or 830 points to 66670.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 219 to 168 and 26 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.86% or 0.44 to $51.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.63% or 0.38 to hit $60.53 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.45 to trade at $1246.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.42% to 3.7654, while EUR/ILS rose 0.21% to 4.2720.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 97.188.
