Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.42%
Credit: © Reuters. – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed , Technology and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.42%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: TEVA ), which rose 5.79% or 189 points to trade at 3456 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE: OPK ) added 2.79% or 18 points to end at 678 and Delek Group (TASE: DLEKG ) was up 2.56% or 1610 points to 64400 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Israel Corp (TASE: ILCO ), which lost 1.64% or 1340 points to trade at 80510 in late trade. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE: PHOE1 ) declined 1.49% or 34 points to end at 2250 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE: ICL ) shed 1.45% or 27 points to 1833.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 194 to 177 and 49 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.19% or 1.29 to $57.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.55% or 1.73 to hit $66.14 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.50 to trade at $1285.50 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.54% to 3.6313, while EUR/ILS rose 0.61% to 4.0441.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 98.067.
