Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.48% – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate , Communication and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.48%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA: OPK ), which rose 3.47% or 38 points to trade at 1133 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA: TEVA ) added 3.25% or 200 points to end at 6350 and Ormat Technologies (TA: ORA ) was up 2.51% or 520 points to 21200 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Harel (TA: HARL ), which lost 2.73% or 74 points to trade at 2639 in late trade. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA: DSCT ) declined 1.65% or 17.0 points to end at 1013.0 and Melisron (TA: MLSR ) shed 1.06% or 160 points to 14920.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 195 to 189 and 32 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.25% or 0.17 to $68.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $73.79 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.50 to trade at $1324.40 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.5880, while EUR/ILS rose 0.27% to 4.3528.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 91.31.
