Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.51%

Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking , Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.51%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA: OPK ), which rose 4.23% or 57 points to trade at 1404 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TA: MZTF ) added 2.30% or 157 points to end at 6969 and Poalim (TA: POLI ) was up 1.79% or 44 points to 2505 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Ormat Technologies (TA: ORA ), which lost 1.45% or 270 points to trade at 18340 in late trade. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA: CEL ) declined 1.16% or 29 points to end at 2471 and Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA: FRUT ) shed 1.15% or 400 points to 34500.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 215 to 150 and 37 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.97% or 1.32 to $65.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.22% or 0.95 to hit $76.61 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1299.30 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.10% to 3.5580, while EUR/ILS fell 0.39% to 4.1482.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 94.16.
