Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.53%
Credit: © Reuters. – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate , Banking and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.53% to hit a new 3-year high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA: ILCO ), which rose 2.67% or 2800 points to trade at 107500 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA: TSEM ) added 2.36% or 185 points to end at 8010 and Melisron (TA: MLSR ) was up 1.99% or 310 points to 15880 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Partner (TA: PTNR ), which lost 2.52% or 42 points to trade at 1625 in late trade. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA: CEL ) declined 2.26% or 50 points to end at 2167 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA: MZTF ) shed 1.57% or 101 points to 6320.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 221 to 170 and 33 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.60% or 0.41 to $68.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.31% or 0.24 to hit $76.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.50 to trade at $1209.90 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.36% to 3.6138, while EUR/ILS fell 0.37% to 4.2258.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 94.60.
