Israel shares lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.01% – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology , Insurance and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.01%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TA: DLEKG ), which rose 1.93% or 990 points to trade at 52190 at the close. Partner (TA: PTNR ) added 1.07% or 14 points to end at 1319 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA: ICL ) was up 0.85% or 14 points to 1660 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA: TSEM ), which lost 1.88% or 150 points to trade at 7850 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA: TEVA ) declined 1.03% or 94 points to end at 9017 and Harel (TA: HARL ) shed 0.98% or 26 points to 2615.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 216 to 148 and 39 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.27% or 0.20 to $73.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $77.78 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.50 to trade at $1257.00 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.08% to 3.6489, while EUR/ILS fell 0.21% to 4.2477.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.38.
