Israel shares lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.04%

Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication , Banking and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.04%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA: ILCO ), which rose 3.88% or 2940 points to trade at 78760 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA: TEVA ) added 3.31% or 274 points to end at 8540 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA: ICL ) was up 2.81% or 47 points to 1720 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Partner (TA: PTNR ), which lost 3.47% or 48 points to trade at 1337 in late trade. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA: BEZQ ) declined 2.82% or 12.3 points to end at 424.0 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA: AZRG ) shed 2.70% or 500 points to 18000.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 199 to 194 and 26 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.48% or 0.32 to $66.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $76.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1302.90 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.39% to 3.5843, while EUR/ILS rose 0.26% to 4.2241.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.60.
