Israel shares lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.25%
Credit: © Reuters. – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Biomed , Technology and Communication sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.25%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: TEVA ), which rose 1.94% or 77 points to trade at 4051 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE: ALHE ) added 1.45% or 64 points to end at 4480 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: TSEM ) was up 1.43% or 78 points to 5529 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE: BEZQ ), which lost 3.16% or 8.0 points to trade at 245.4 in late trade. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE: AZRG ) declined 2.50% or 540 points to end at 21040 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE: PHOE1 ) shed 2.14% or 49 points to 2246.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 242 to 125 and 52 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.55% or 0.32 to $58.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.50% or 1.01 to hit $68.48 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1284.35 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.11% to 3.6045, while EUR/ILS fell 0.02% to 4.0340.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 97.627.
