Israel shares lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.56%
Credit: © Reuters. – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking , Communication and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.56%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA: OPK ), which rose 5.06% or 82 points to trade at 1703 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA: TSEM ) added 1.80% or 143 points to end at 8105 and Harel (TA: HARL ) was up 1.59% or 43 points to 2743 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA: CEL ), which lost 4.26% or 90 points to trade at 2025 in late trade. Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA: ORL ) declined 2.14% or 3.2 points to end at 146.1 and Nice Ltd (TA: NICE ) shed 2.08% or 840 points to 39500.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 198 to 163 and 45 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.20% or 0.13 to $65.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.43% or 1.07 to hit $73.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.20 to trade at $1270.30 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.04% to 3.6227, while EUR/ILS rose 0.32% to 4.2051.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 94.51.
