Israel shares lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.26% – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate , Communication and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 1.26% to hit a new 1-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TA: ESLT ), which rose 4.18% or 2030 points to trade at 50600 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TA: ARPT ) added 1.63% or 68 points to end at 4238 and Ormat Technologies (TA: ORA ) was up 1.10% or 250 points to 22970 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA: TEVA ), which lost 6.94% or 500 points to trade at 6700 in late trade. OPKO Health Inc (TA: OPK ) declined 6.74% or 104 points to end at 1438 and Delek Group (TA: DLEKG ) shed 3.66% or 2000 points to 52700.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 268 to 115 and 21 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.50% or 0.31 to $61.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.52% or 0.34 to hit $65.17 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.40 to trade at $1317.00 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.15% to 3.4999, while EUR/ILS rose 0.15% to 4.2922.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 90.11.
