Israel shares lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.32%
Credit: © Reuters. – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Insurance , Biomed and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.32% to hit a new 1-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE: BEZQ ), which rose 1.87% or 4.2 points to trade at 229.0 at the close. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE: ISRAp ) added 1.16% or 0.4 points to end at 34.9 and Ormat Technologies (TASE: ORA ) was up 0.89% or 190 points to 21420 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: TEVA ), which lost 7.38% or 255 points to trade at 3201 in late trade. Perrigo (TASE: PRGO ) declined 6.54% or 1060 points to end at 15140 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE: OPK ) shed 4.79% or 32 points to 646.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 286 to 95 and 28 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 5.69% or 3.22 to $53.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 5.57% or 3.64 to hit $61.69 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1311.10 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.11% to 3.6261, while EUR/ILS rose 0.34% to 4.0539.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 97.675.
