Israel shares lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.46% – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance , Biomed and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.46% to hit a new 1-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Mazor Robotics (TA: MZOR ), which rose 0.66% or 70 points to trade at 10730 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA: SODA ) added 0.55% or 290.0 points to end at 52980.0 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA: TSEM ) was up 0.41% or 27 points to 6673 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA: TEVA ), which lost 3.50% or 271 points to trade at 7480 in late trade. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA: ICL ) declined 3.36% or 73 points to end at 2097 and Israel Corp (TA: ILCO ) shed 2.82% or 3100 points to 106900.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 300 to 77 and 27 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.30% or 0.20 to $67.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.25% or 0.19 to hit $76.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.40 to trade at $1232.20 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.22% to 3.6932, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 4.2024.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 96.38.
