Morocco shares higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.41%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals , Mining and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.41%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS: FBR ), which rose 9.93% or 8.96 points to trade at 99.15 at the close. Timar (CS: TIM ) added 5.81% or 11.10 points to end at 202.00 and Bmce Bank (CS: BMCE ) was up 3.63% or 6.90 points to 196.90 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Sothema (CS: SOT ), which lost 5.82% or 92 points to trade at 1488 in late trade. Atlanta (CS: ATL ) declined 4.83% or 3.20 points to end at 63.10 and Delta Holding S.A (CS: DHO ) shed 4.35% or 1.50 points to 33.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 19 to 18 and 5 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.22% or 0.84 to $69.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.15% or 0.90 to hit $78.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 2.40 to trade at $1203.40 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.08% to 10.9610, while USD/MAD rose 0.14% to 9.4015.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.26.
