Morocco shares higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.08%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Mining , Invest Companies & Other Finance and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.08%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Taslif (CS: TSF1 ), which rose 5.97% or 1.79 points to trade at 31.79 at the close. M2M Group (CS: M2M ) added 5.76% or 16.20 points to end at 297.30 and Aluminum mar 1l (CS: ALU ) was up 4.27% or 47 points to 1147 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Snep (CS: SNP ), which lost 9.98% or 12.50 points to trade at 112.70 in late trade. Disway SA (CS: DWY ) declined 3.82% or 15.00 points to end at 378.00 and Stroc Industrie (CS: STR ) shed 3.57% or 1.74 points to 47.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 17 and 7 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.13% or 0.06 to $47.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.22% or 0.11 to hit $48.84 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.30% or 3.55 to trade at $1184.25 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 10.6620, while USD/MAD fell 0.08% to 10.0970.

The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 101.72.
